Edit your badge or nameplate

Choose a folder and design, then log in to edit your own private copy. The original template and other customers' designs stay unchanged. On a product page, “Customize This Badge” opens the verified editable template for that exact product when available.

1. Select, move and edit

2. Curved and circular text

Select a text line, then open Curve. Choose Straight, Curve Up, Curve Down, Circle Top, Circle Bottom or Full Circle. Adjust the text on the design using its handles. Curve controls provide more precise adjustments; Fit text helps fit the words to the selected curve. Check the full text and its distance from the print boundary before downloading.

3. Zoom for easier editing

Use + and − to zoom. Use the percentage/fit control to fit the design in the view. Zoom changes only the view, not the physical print dimensions. Close open panels to make more space for the design.

4. Logos, shapes and colours

Use Add logo or the logo upload control to choose your image. Select an existing logo to replace or remove it. Use Library for available logos and shapes. The selected item determines which colour and shape controls appear. Multicolour logos keep their original colours unless an explicit editing option is applied.

Use only artwork you have permission to use. Uploading a logo into a private design does not by itself publish it in the shared library. Public-library publishing is a separate admin action.

5. Smart Balance, colour sets and name copies

Where available, open More for Smart Balance, Colour sets and Name copies. Review a proposed change before applying it. Smart Balance does not approve the design for production.

  1. Open Name copies and choose the text line for names.
  2. Enter one name per line, up to 50 names.
  3. Select Preview names and check each result.
  4. Choose only the ready names, then select Create selected copies.

These are separate private drafts. The source design stays unchanged. Creating copies does not automatically place orders, take payments or send messages.

6. Save and update the preview

Use Save and check the save status before leaving. For an order-linked draft, Update Preview updates the order preview without regenerating the image with AI. Undo and Redo reverse recent edits. Where available, earlier revisions and draft backups can help recover your work.

Admins use Save & Publish to update a public template. Existing customer copies stay unchanged. Publishing a template is separate from confirming an order.

7. Preview and download

Use the download control provided by the editor. Selection handles and editing guides are not printed. Gold or silver material shown in the preview is for display; the print download uses the configured print artwork. Use the verified frame and physical dimensions for production, not the on-screen zoom size.

Before printing: check the final text, spelling, logo, layout and print dimensions. Saving, a preview or a layout check is not production approval. A product photo alone is not editable artwork; an editable master must contain the correct text and logo layers. Do not print a scaled screenshot in place of the print download.
